Food World – Saved 67%!

I decided to take advantage of Food World’s triple coupon days this week. I was able to get several items for free or almost free as well as some great deals on some items that I needed to restock (such as Ziploc bags, toilet paper, and paper towels). Shopping at Food World was a totally different experience from Publix! I actually was feeling pretty grumpy as I was shopping, because the store wasn’t as organized and clean as Publix and also the employees were not as friendly…however, when I saw all the items I got for free, I felt a lot better…not enough to switch to Food World, but better! Here is what I purchased (I made 2 trips because I did not bring all of my coupons in my 1st trip…this is why planning is so important!):

Be sure to save your receipts for the Foodworld trip, some of the stuff you bought qualifies for the free turkey or ham offer that was in Sunday’s paper. Go to the website http://www.makinglifebetter.com for a complete list of the items that qualify (there are more than shown in the ad in the paper.)
